Is Ludhiana Nagar Nigam B&R department under RTI Act

Nagar Nigam Ludhiana’s department B & R where all officers are minting money by hook and crook with the connivance of contractual agency, contractor and councilor.

That is if we seek any information from Nagar Nigam B&R department under RTI Act they have all time deliberately  avoid to provide information that this information which has been sought by us.

Instead of provide RTI reply they send a judgment copy of reference case of Sarabjit Roy v/s Delhi Development Authority 910/01/2005-CIC dated 25-02-2006). The B&R department does not disclose the transparency of record because there is huge embezzlement of officer in corruption especially work of construction.

Government higher authority  make mandatory in B&R department to provide complete information to the public under RTI Act of road construction detail of tender,  contractors’ name address and details of all  B&R concerned officers. 

Before starting construction of any road there must be a board on the road in which the name of current posting address and mobile number of Junior Engineer Assistant Engineer under whom supervision of this work will take place and also the name of contractual agency, address, contractor’s name mobile number, measurement of road time and date of staring work and completion period of road.
