I want to bring your kind notice in the medical facilities
that are being provided by doctors to the public and how it has been suffering
in the hands of doctors in the name of diagnosis.
In Indian constitute it has been written that government
will provide equality and health facilities to all citizen of India but the
scenario is different public is dying without treatment.
Doctor’s communities have no fear of law and orders
because they are working under the shelter and support of politician and
bureaucrat.
As a result Indian doctors have become selfish and looting
public with both hands. The Hippocratic Oath taken for ethical conduct to
doctors who recommend diagnostic by doctors appears to have lost its relevance
these days.
In present time doctors has been so greedy that to make
money they create a fear in the mind of patient that he is in serious physical
problems and it required immediate diagnostic test and operation.
The doctors recommend
diagnostic test to a special center where from they get 50 to 60% commission.
Doctors prescribe medicines to patient only that company where from they get
huge commission.
Now a day surgeon doctors has also started to make money by
operation. If the patient is not required any operation but to make money they
put pressure to patient for operation and implant stent and pacemakers in
patient. The commission on tests and medicals equipment is now 40-60 percent.
In past time doctors used to check patient physically to
examine pulse or with stethoscope. In present time doctors do not take any
responsibilities and recommend various medical tests to make patient satisfy.
It is old proverb that health is wealth. The Government has
started a number of schemes for public health and spends millions of rupees in
these projects for welfare but due to corruption in government medical
department it is proving useless so public does not get any gain from such
welfare projects on ground level.
According to a survey by the Indian Institute of Population
Science and WHO in six states more than 40% of low-income families in India
have to borrow money from outside the family to meet their health care costs.
In government hospital at district level there is no proper latest technology
machine to diagnosis serious diseases and when it detected late due to not
proper facilities in government hospital it becomes so late and it change into
fatal disease or cancer.
Health diseases are major problem in all of us and due to
heavy charges of medical diagnosis test a middle man family member avoid to
getting test so in every district level civil hospital there must be provision
and facilities of all kind of diagnosis test and it must be compulsory and free
of cost for all citizen of India.
Now it is also the need of time to rein doctor’s greediness
it can only be possible that government must start all diagnostic tests in all
government civil hospital. There must be CT scan, MRI and PET CET Scan
diagnostic tests facilities in all government hospital and it may be free of
cost or on genuine charges that is affordable by general public.
